Evelyne Chetrite focuses on the womenswear collection where her eye for detail makes Sandro the interesting label that is. Her son Ilan Chetrite is the man behind the menswear seasonal collections that have been said to be revisited classics with a chic edge.
The brand was born in paris 1984, their first hit the patterned patchwork dresses with bubble sleeves which was quickly classed as bohemian chic.
The first Sandro boutique was opened on Rue Vieille du Temple in the heart of the Marais now Sandro has a huge following globally, with 202 boutiques worldwide.
Sandro has always been a brand that stood out for me when shopping in London, just because you can really sense the distinctly French feel of the brand. The clothes have such flare yet still stay true to the classics that you cannot refuse to have in your wardrobe, such as the iconic blazer, ripped jeans and various leather pieces from skirts to jackets.
The edge of this brand is what makes Sandro so special, I am in love with the spring summer' 13 look book and will definitely be purchasing the ripped jeans and a few of the printed dresses which their so well known for.
Enjoy guys.
